From an Engineering Vision to a Growing Transformer Manufacturing Company
Established in 2018, Astron Electrik is a growing transformer manufacturing company in Bengaluru, built around a long-standing ambition to develop reliable and technically capable transformer solutions for diverse electrical applications.
The company’s journey began with the vision of its directors, particularly shaped by one director’s academic background in Electrical Engineering in the United Kingdom and approximately three years of international professional experience in the electrical engineering field. During his time in the UK, he developed a strong interest in transformer manufacturing and nurtured the ambition of establishing his own transformer manufacturing company in India.
Our Journey
After returning to India, this ambition became the foundation for Astron Electrik. The company commenced operations in 2018 on a small scale with just two employees, initially focusing on Current Transformers and Isolation Transformers.
Over the years, Astron Electrik has progressively expanded its product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, workforce and infrastructure. What began as a small operation has developed into an established manufacturing organisation with approximately 60 employees and around 36,000 sq. ft. of operational area.
Today, the company has advanced into manufacturing technically demanding transformers with capabilities extending to approximately 33 kV and 2,500 kVA, while continuing to expand its product and manufacturing capabilities.
